Prisoner Of Wind Kiteboards
are produced by Neptune Surfboards and designed by Pacifica
local, Jeff Kafka; a talented surfer, Kiteboarder and Tow-surfer.
Jeff designs the POW boards from years of experience in
what works under speed in the surf. Different shapes are
needed for different conditions and Jeff has narrowed it
down to two distinct shapes that will work to suit different
styles in different conditions; The Quad Skull and the Tri
Halo. These shapes are available in different sizes to suit
any riders needs.

Four fin design with a swallow tail. This board rides fast
and stable on a rail but also releases when you want to make
a tight snap on a wave. Perfect for beach breaks, tight sections
and exposed reefs. If you have a variety of conditions to
deal with, this is your weapon of choice. |

This boardsis a traditional tri fin set up with a wide out
line and a rounded pintail. It need to be ridden a bit slower,
once you get into a wave you really want to try to spill the
power of the kite and surf the wave. These boards are designed
for down the line surfing, meaning longer drawn out turns
with more stability. |

The Quad race board is designed out of a bit denser core.
This gives the board a bit more stability and durability.
These boards have a straighter outline than the traditional
surf shape. This out line allows the board to cut up wind
better than a surfboard. This shape also has a lot lower rocker
than the surf shape, this allows the board to handle at higher
speeds with out chopping out. The combination of the low rocker,
straighter out line, single concave, and quad fin setup, this
board is built to win some races, up wind or down wind.
